What Environmental Activists

Are Planning for Coal in 2013

Ross Parman, Manager, Insights & Public Affairs
Tuesday, May 21st, 2013 ~ 2-3 pm Eastern

Coal continues to be a target for environmental activists. With many groups split over strategy for Keystone XL, a fragmented activist base is decidedly less restrained than traditional environmental organizations.  Using social media and community organization tactics, these groups are savvy, motivated and may be off your radar.

Join us as Ross Parman with MXM provides an update on what environmental activists have planned for the coal industry in 2013.  Among the topics to be addressed:

• What are environmental groups large and small doing online and on the ground
• How are these groups working to advance their strategy to abolish coal mining and coal-fueled power plants in the U.S.
